How does licensing work? +

Your license is a one-time purchase, delivered instantly by email as a license key. Enter it once in the app to activate. Personal licenses cover 1 Mac; Family covers 5.

What happens if I lose my license key? +

Head to the Recover License page, enter the email you bought with, and we'll send your key again.

Is it really a one-time purchase? +

Yes. No subscription. Minor and bug-fix updates within the major version are free, forever.

How do I restore a file? +

Open the Restore tab, browse any day's backup or search across every backup, then pick the file and the version you want. It's saved to a location you choose, your original is never overwritten.

Where are my files stored? +

Local backups go to a drive you choose. Cloud Vault encrypts your chosen files and uploads them to your own Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud Drive, or OneDrive. Nothing is ever stored on our servers.

Can you read my backups? +

No. Everything runs on your Mac and is encrypted with keys only you hold. We can't read, share, or recover your files, by design.

What's your refund policy? +

Purchases are handled by our merchant of record, Paddle, so refunds follow Paddle's policy and your local consumer rights. If something isn't working, email us, we'll help sort it out or point you to a refund.
